Everything You Need to Know

IS POP FIT STUDIO FOR ME?

Pop Fit Studio is an inclusive space for people of all sizes and fitness levels. Whether you are a beginner, just getting back into a routine or you’re an experienced fitness enthusiast, you are welcome at Pop Fit Studio. Instructors are trained to help you get the most from your workout and want to help you reach your goals. We offer a judgement free workout zone.

DO YOU OFFER A TRIAL MEMBERSHIP IF I’M NOT SURE THAT I WANT TO JOIN?

YES! The best way for you to try out our studio is with our intro week. For the same price as a drop in you can enjoy one week of unlimited classes.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?

We suggest wearing comfortable clothing that you can sweat in. We offer a judgement free workout zone so wear whatever makes you feel your best.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?

Feel free to bring your own towel and water bottle. We provide towel service at no additional charge. We have a water fountain to fill your bottles as well as flavored water, coffee and tea complimentary for members. We also have water bottles available for sale in the studio.

WHAT FOOTWEAR IS SUGGESTED?

Each class is a little different. For dance, pound, and trampoline classes we suggest a studio sneaker, something that is lightweight but also provides support while still allowing mobility. Some clients also prefer bare feet or a dance shoe for certain classes. For barre classes we suggest bare feet or toe socks so that you can actively use the muscles in the feet. We ask that no sneakers be worn in barre classes. For trampoline classes you can wear sneakers or bare feet.
*For all classes we ask that you wear separate shoes to the studio and change into your studio shoe at the studio. We have specialized flooring in our fitness studios and in order to keep the floors clean for classes we ask that you do not wear outdoor shoes inside the studio.

HOW IS YOUR FLOORING DIFFERENT?

Our fitness flooring is unique because each board in the floor reacts independently of every other. The boards are held together with Silver Springs, which allows the boards to individually flex upon impact. This impact is then absorbed by the shock absorbing pad below the wood surface. The system assures that each individual on the floor will receive proper shock absorption, regardless of their weight class or level of impact. Our flooring is a premiere sports flooring system, designed specifically for group exercise. Unlike many other flooring surfaces, if is not a modified basketball or racquetball court floor, but rather designed for the utmost in safety and performance for today’s group exercise athlete. Our flooring meets or exceeds all of the DIN Standards for group exercise flooring, which have been judged worldwide to be the ideal standard for safe fitness flooring.

DO YOU OFFER LOCKER ROOMS AND SHOWERS?

We have two large individual bathrooms that you may use for changing your clothes. We also have plenty of seating and cubbies for changing your shoes before class. We do not currently have showers but our bathrooms are equipped with toiletries and hairdryers for getting ready. We also offer Shower Wipes for cleaning up without a shower. (as seen on Shark Tank)

DO YOU OFFER FREE PARKING?

We have free parking in Manoa shopping center available to clients during all class times. The only areas you cannot park are areas marked such as handicapped (unless you are handicapped) and the “to go spots” for Applebees.

WHAT IF I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND A CLASS I AM REGISTERED FOR?

We have a 2 hour cancellation policy so that those who are on the waiting list can be notified and attend class. Please be courteous of others and if you can no longer attend, cancel your registration. If you cancel within the two hour cancellation window or you no show you will charged for the class ($10 fee for monthly members). You can easily cancel online or through the app. Of you can call or text the studio to cancel your registration.

I AM RUNNING LATE FOR CLASS, CAN I STILL ATTEND?

We ask that no one enter the studio once class has started. The warm up is a vital part of class and prepares your body for the workout ahead. Plus if the class is waitlisted someone on the waitlist may take your place if you do not arrive on time.

HOW DO MEMBERSHIPS WORK?

We offer a few membership options to suit your needs. We don’t require any long term commitments or contracts BUT if you would like to enjoy our lowest rate we ask for a 12 month membership commitment. This membership can be frozen due to illness or injury and our other memberships can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice.
